Regeneration: Her regeneration isn't as fast as most vampires. She actually hasn't had to use it in the past very often. So she can die from too much blood lose if the wound is to great to heal in time.
Detect Magic (Lvl: 1): They have to be right on top of her to sense any magic, and sometimes she doesn't catch it then.
Illusions (Lvl: 3): This is mainly when she reads; she can produce an image around her so she feels like she is really there.
Levitation (Lvl: 4): She has to get to those books somehow.
Mental Guard (Lvl: 4): She has one too many voices in her head 24/7, she doesn’t need anymore. So has mastered this skill to keep everyone out unless knocking first. And just because she has a great ability to keep others out doesn't mean she can get into others minds as easly. She can't enter if one doesn't wish of it.
Suggestion: (Lvl: 2): This can only be used between the two sides of her mind. She does not have the ability to use it on anyone else. Not even the mortals. She uses this mainly to get her body back from Senka.
Telekinesis (Lvl: 2): For moving those carts of books around of course!
Telepathy (Lvl: 1)
Personality:
Shy: Serka tries to keep to herself as much as possible, even though it’s hard with Senka constantly irritating her to let her free. New people make her timid, she also gets embarrassed easily, sometimes not even by the person or people around her. Senka can say something only she hears and it will make her randomly blush. You know when she is really uncomfortable because she looks at the ground and looks all around her without lifting her head, she will also fidget.
Quiet: This goes along with being shy; Serka was raised not to speak unless spoken to. Which these last 300 years have led her to speaking out of tongue often because of a certain thing in her mind. With as much as she mumbles to herself, you wouldn’t think she was quiet, just wait until you see what she is rumbling at! She is also to the point, if she has to talk. Either she will point you in the direction or mumble the least words possible to help you. She hates her own voice after hearing it for so long.
Submissive: Lady Lina is trying to break her of this. Serka tends to always do as others tell her, especially men. Her background roots were set in time when the lady always obeyed the man no matter what; this is what got her in so much trouble in the first place.
Musical: This may not be much of a trait, but Serka is very musical and artistic when it comes to the piano. This is her way of drowning things out, her relaxation. You know something or someone is bothering her or she is stressed for you will hear those keys echoing the chambers of the Manor.
Rational: Serka tries to be rational with every situation given to her, ever since she was given the chance to live or be dead eternity, with ever you consider it, she has learned to not just jump into things like some part of her conscious does. She just sits back and analyzes the situation before action is taken.
Chicken: Hehe, yes Serka is a chicken at times. She hates confrontation with anyone, which frustrates her because Senka constantly has them bickering between each other. She will try to talk her way out of something or run. If she has to she will block her attacker but never found the courage to hit back. That is another thing being worked on. Senka and a select few of the coven members are attempting to make her stronger.
Clumsy: She isn’t sure if this comes from Senka startling her randomly making her fall over her own feet or if it’s just because she is just down right clumsy. She always seemed to fall over her feet before, but it got worse when someone inhabited her mind.
Fragile: She seems so breakable, even though she is a vampire and is far from being so. This can be taken as more of a mental trait than physical. She can flip a switch fast, usually that’s when Senka gets to be free. Serka tries hard not to let her mind slip but sometimes it just gets to her.
OCD? : Everything is always perfect with her. In the right order, it’s own spot. If she does something to one item the same has to be done with the other. She is just OCD when it comes to her Library and cleaning. Everything has to be smooth and clean to her standards or she will fix it. The servants aren’t allowed in the librarian to clean because she will piss them off by going behind them and fixing things herself. If someone moves something, Serka is right there fixing it. Which leaves her always busy because Senka messes everything up.

Suggestion: (Lvl: 1): This is mainly to taunt Serka with. And can only be used in their mind.

Telepathy (Lvl: 1)
Personality:
Loud: Yes, Senka is loud. You know when she is in a room for she will just start riddling off words as if she has diarrhea of the mouth even if no one is around. She will speak her and Serka’s mind. It tends to get them in trouble, because Serka’s innocent thoughts get taken the wrong way sometimes.
Fighter: Senka isn’t a great fighter but she can defend herself and will take what is given to her and throw in her own punches. She is just as feisty as Serka is not. Although she isn’t out to pick fights, they just seem to come with her loud mouth.
Careless: Senka is out to destroy Serka, she sets out to do anything to make Serka just give up and let Senka live both their lives. Senka hates the way Serka lives and acts.
Energetic: Senka cannot stay in one place; she is always on the go. Whether it is destroying the library for Serka to clean up later or running around the coven looking for something to do.
Party Animal: That’s one way to put it. Senka is up for a party anytime, night out on the town or just a drink with some others around the coven. Senka enjoys a drink every now and again, in turn ends up making Serka sick the next morning.
Irrational: An alter ego has to be opposite right? Senka gets fumed rather quickly with little things especially when Serka taunts her for her own mind back. Senka see’s only the story she wants and goes from there. Even if she is wrong, which she wont admit.
Proud: She holds her head high, will look one in the eye and will not lower herself to anyone, especially another man. She has learned to behave around Lina though, for it was because of her that Serka kept her around. Senka took the gesture as giving her a new chance to drive Serka crazy.
Stubborn: A part of being proud, she is also stubborn she doesn’t take criticism well and must have things her way. She will do what it takes to get things done the way she wants them. If someone gives her a suggestion, she will listen, but most likely wont listen, if she does she wont admit it.
OCD: In the end Senka is just like Serka when it comes to the library and keeping it clean. She has to have everything her way as well. Which is completely opposite of Serka’s way. Leaving them up until late in the mornings changing things around.
------
They still hold a few things dear to them. They both enjoy reading and playing the piano. It’s just Senka loves more action and reading mysteries which of course always seem to have truth to them. And Serka loves the love stories and reading of history. She does enjoy the “fantasy” stories once in a while. It gives Senka something to ask other creatures if its true or not that live in the coven walls. They argue about the books read between them and the music played on the piano. Which is when you will randomly hear yelling and bickering from the library walls. She is waiting for Lina to make it sound proof for the two don’t seem to have the same sleeping habits so they never tend to get…well…. sleep. In turn keeping others awake at times. They have learned not to rest while the other is in control. Serka freaks out way too much to rest when Senka gets the chance to take over.
------
Background: (This is for Serka and her alter ego Senka)
Born in the 16th century, Serka was the child to a vampire family. In the era where the rich were rich and everyone else was poor. It seemed to always be bleak and cold. Meat and bread scarce, harvests were failing. Taxes, fuel, and food all the sorts expensive while wages were low. Peasants were loosing their land, going homeless. Although, while peasants lives a life of despair the middle class was growing. With trade bursting throughout French, Dutch and even English ports, time with leisure came easy.
Serka doesn’t remember much. All she remembers is that her life was complicating. She never understood why her life was so great yet looking down on others they were miserable mortals starving. Serka’s father was in the trading business; one of the richest is France. It was because of him along with all the others of his class that common folk were dying all around. Some would even sell themselves as servants to her father, work just for food, to soon be killed off as a blood doll. They knew no one left their home, but still wanted the slight luxury of a warm place and food one last time. Her father referred to it as “Cleaning the streets” letting them enjoy a few weeks of warmth and a full belly before sacrificing themselves to him, just as long as they got what they wanted. He convinced himself that it was their fault they did it to themselves.
Serka could not argue either. Females of this time, if not left working for minimum wage, were meant just to take care of the man and house, along with in her conditions the servants. How they always had food, clothing and the riches Serka never knew. She was not allowed to ask questions. Nor was she allowed to talk to the slaves of the house. She was to not even look at them, as if they weren’t there. She knew this all had to be wrong in some way, this couldn’t be right by the heavens...then again vampires were cursed regardless so did it really matter? Why did she care so much? Was she that miserable herself that she related to this mortals?
Serka was turned into the perfect lady of France. Forced to hold herself high, nose in the air, perfection to the human and immortal eye. This was just the beginning, her classes of curtsy, manors and lessons of what a woman need be dragged on through the nights. No one understood the way they lived. It was easy for them to go out in the day back then. It always seemed like the heavens were feeling for the world and either cried upon them or stayed gloomy with thick clouds. The sunlight never seemed to come out. When it did they stayed hidden in their home with lessons all day. Her mother enjoyed this life and always scolded Serka for not, anytime the child tried to forbid doing something it wasn’t a pleasant thing. Child abuse wasn’t taking seriously in these days. Serka did have one form of freedom. The piano, her mother made her play that thing night in and night out, but it was the one thing she loved. The only thing she did at her own will without protesting.
She became magnificent with the huge instrument. It became the first thing mortals heard when they entered her home and the last as her family fed off them. It was the only way she could drown out the cries. She of course did take her own pray down, but it wasn’t out of joy, it was how she had to live. Forced to stay the living dead. Her thirst was out of hunger while her families was out of pure joy of killing. She was one of the most feared creatures yet she held fear within herself. Her life was never right, it was never good enough for her mother and father, and she could not seem to be the perfect daughter they wanted. If one thing went wrong she’d get hit, granite it would not hurt long and didn’t keep her wounded long physically, but mentally she seemed to always be drained. She became her parents doll as much as the mortals did, they greed for power seemed to never end. They wanted all the fear them.
As the century went on artists and authors began to emerge along the lines with the inventors. With hate filling the air, mad men were producing weapons and gunpowder. Other’s finding better ways to live, art and literature began to boom. A new love for Serka, she tried her hardest to please her father just so he’d bring her home a book. She would drown herself in it when she got a break from her cycling lessons. She had a new way to drown out reality; her piano and now books became her friends. Her mother didn’t like this much, she couldn’t understand why her daughter, a vampire, would rather read and produce music instead of kill. It was in their blood. Serka just didn’t have a high blood lust, she did was she needed to get by and that was it, then back to what she enjoyed.
This went one for centuries, through the wars and revolutions, battles between the churches and religion. She witnessed it all, even if it is hardly remembered by her, long ago putting those memories away. Through it all she came across a new vampire. He was beautiful to her. The first one she could look at in her existence without being disgusted, she was engrossed with him, a figure out of her stories. It had to be a story, it was too good to be true, and it was as if he came just for her. She was about 380 years old roughly at this time in age. She wasn’t too sure though, she didn’t keep much of a count, she didn’t want to. By this time she counted every day she was with her lover, this man sent from out of nowhere to rescue her. Serka counted the days until he swept her away from her prison. They left France and went to a small down somewhere near European boarders, but to this day she cannot remember the name. There they lived peacefully in their bath of love for about a century, there he worked on his love to change her from this scared timid creature into something different.
Into an actual being, something she could enjoy instead of being scared all the time. He got her to actually argue with him instead of agree, to talk to him instead of just nod. He saw something in her that he wanted to free. He loved everything she was, but knew she hated herself. He didn’t want her to be trapped anymore by what her parents turned her into. He made sure to keep a grand piano and books near at all times for her. Even though she still held herself high, he got her to live more, to love him because she loved him and not because she feared him and had to be with him, because he chose her. He wanted her to want him. Oh they lived in their immortality for the hundred years with happiness all around them. She did not have as much riches as what her father and mother gave her, but as long as she had her books and piano she was happy. She was happy with where she was for once and her lover kept molding her into this person. Showed her how to defend herself, how there were more options out there than just being a slave to her own family.
During this time of transfer a tragedy struck. Serka doesn’t remember how it happened or why. She was never given a reason. One early morning all she remembers was being woke up and told to run and hide. There were so many hiding spots in their home that no one ever found her. He told her of a secret spot to retreat to if anything ever happened. They had reason to fear for people were beginning to name anyone a witch, they though the world was cursed and now it was their turn to destroy it. Serka never knew if her parents were killed or not, nor did she care. All she cared about was her love, which she imagined would stay alive and come to get her. Something happened, no one ever came, the day turned to night again. He had saved her, he died for her, and they slaughtered him and finally gave up on looking for her.
Finding her love in pieces, burned to ashes from the sun being caste in through the big windows once covered with heavy dark curtains. Through all the noise and chaos, through her entire years of being alive yet at the same time dead she never experienced a pain like this. Her mate was slaughtered so easily, how many had come to kill him? How many were still looking for her? Where was she to go? Home? No, she couldn’t go back to that life! And just like that a string in her mental mind snapped. Just like a dead twig being stepped on. She snapped, became something she wasn’t sure about. A new voice told her to go kill, but she couldn’t kill. Did she know how? Where was this voice coming from!? What was going on? Some nights she would be curled up crying and other nights she would wake up covered in blood, not knowing what happened. Or one day her books would be in one order, the next in a different order. Who what changing them!?
Serka had gone mad, there was a voice when she was sober and trying to figure out what to do, it rang in her head so much, so furiously that she couldn’t control herself or her actions. She was curled up in a corner for nights, rocking, pulling her hair out whishes for the voice to go away. But it taunted her, telling her it would not go anywhere. These times were a blur for her, she couldn’t figure out what was real or a dream. What was wrong with her!? It just didn’t make sense, what was becoming of her? Serka had produced a second personality. With the loss of her lover and the mere thought of going back to her old life messed her up so bad she flipped, her body went back to her old quiet self while in her mind a new personality was trying to get out. She was going mad by the days, this happened for what seemed like two years, she looked for everyway possible to get rid of this monster. She was being hunted; who did not know she was vampire knew she was nuts and tried to kill her.
And every time she got them to the point to where they were going to kill her, she would blank out. Awaken to them dead, or her still on the earth, just elsewhere. What was going on? That is when she decided to do it herself; she’d kill herself off some way or another. The stories in her book had to be somewhat truth right? She could nuke herself; her body would lace the land all over that it couldn’t heal itself. How would she do this in time to change her mind? To have Senka, who now has introduced herself to Serka as the devil here to destroy her, before she could destroy herself? It was then someone found her, heard stories through the towns he was traveling in about a crazed demon. A vampire was the name they finally came up with. She was dubbed more than that though, they told stories how one night she be trying to kill herself by taunting hunters then kill them. How she’d run through the streets yelling at herself, arguing with herself.
He had to find out what was producing these stories. His name was Aeneas Steiner, a traveling vampire, so she thought at first. He found her, seen just how crazy she was, like a newborn fledgling all over again. Her mind was open and just tattered to pieces; she wasn’t sure how to control it. He was truly set out to kill her, seeing her as a threat, dangerous and unneeded on this earth. When he found her, he saw just exactly what was going on. She wasn’t just a rampaging killing machine; she was ill and going made from it. And right then he gave her an option. He told her if she stopped trying to kill herself and being the laughing stock of so many towns he’d give her a cure to controlling what was ripping her to pieces. She wanted it to be dead. He explained how that would be possible perhaps in the far future, but she first had to learn to control it. He offered her a life where she could do more with herself. A life with a coven, where vampire lived together, protecting each other from the hunters still out to get them, now that they know what they actually are.
Aeneas became her friend, as did Lady Stalina, who helped Serka control this mental disability, who worked with her, cared for her. Trained and taught her what to do. To this day Aen has not told her his true reason for finding her. If she knew he was set out to kill her, at the time she would have taken it as a gift. And now she has her own piano in a massive library filled with books to the high ceilings. This was the first job she was ever given besides cooking, cleaning and obeying a man. She has been with the coven for about 400 years now. And still she is cursed with Senka in the back of her mind. Sometimes the other side slips out and enjoys life in the coven. But they have learned to live as one, trying to destroy one another with time and patience. Senka is out to get Serka to disappear and visa versa. Coven members can hear them yelling from the echoing library during the days and nights. Serka never seems to sleep. She is taking care of the library after Senka changes everything around, playing the piano, arguing over what to play and/ or what books to read. Senka had become her most strongest, still she is timid and shy as ever while Senka is out to make a mess of things. It is amusing just to sit back and watch her, some can’t help but to laugh and joke with her, others can’t stand it. Either way this is where she is at now and that is the beginning of her new story.
